How to join new COST Actions?
As opposed to most EU-funded projects, you can join and participate in an ongoing COST project.
Firstly, you can participate as a Management Committee (MC) Member.
The MC is responsible for the coordination, implementation and management for an Action. COST Member can nominated up to 2 representatives for each Action to the MC. To participate as an MC, you need to contact the COST National Coordinator (CNC).
Secondly, you can join as a working group member.
The working groups perform the tasks required by the Action to fulfil the objectives of the network project plan.
To join as a working group member contact the Action’s working group leader and the MC member(s).
Finally, the third option is to participate in Action activities.
Actions provide opportunities to get involved in activities through training schools, short-term scientific missions (SSM), workshops, conferences, etc. To participate in one of these, follow the offers on the website of the specific Action you are interested in.
